If you live in temporary housing (i.e. dorms and apartments) you may think that your options for decorating your walls are limited. Perhaps you have even resigned yourself to living in a home with blank walls, which for a gallery wall enthusiast like myself would be unbearable. However, thanks to 3Ms Command Brand there are a slew of lightweight options, like Print (Em) frames and this Mini Sunburst Mirror, that can help you reinvent your space and design the room of your dreams without damaging the walls.
3 inch Small Round Mirror
8 - 7.5 inch Flat Wooden Sticks
24 - 5.75 inch Flat Wooden Sticks Gold Spray Paint
Hot Glue Gun and Glue
1. Spray paint the wooden sticks and allow to dry.
2. On the back of the mirror, mark the center and four areas on the edge of the mirror equidistance from one another (see photo).
3. Attach the 7.5 inch wooden sticks to the back of the mirror using hot glue, adhere four of the wooden sticks where you placed the marks on the edge of the mirror, making sure they meet in the middle. Then glue the remaining four in the center of the first four wooden sticks, allow the glue to dry.
4. Next attach the 5.75 inch wooden sticks to the back of the mirror using hot glue, adhere three wooden sticks in between each of the 7.5 inch wooden sticks, allow the glue to dry and hang up.
